«     Eric and his wife Beth have lived in Oradell since 1992.  Their two sons attend River Dell High School and River Dell Middle School

«     Strong record of service as a Member of the Board of Education for Oradell Public School (OPS)

  • Served as Chair of Building and Grounds Committee
  • Recommended and received to date over $300,000 of  state capital project match grants
  • Successfully managed an “on time” and “under budget” major capital project (boiler replacement), with < 10 year payback via energy savings
  • Proponent of children safety and security - seeking matching grant from NJ worth $80,000 for a building security program hardware update developed in conjunction with OPD

  • As part of the Board of Education, Garrie brought in a flat expense budget for 2010 (average increase of <$1 per home), despite cutback of most state aid
  • Sales Manager for a  Swiss semiconductor equipment manufacturer that manages 15 professional staff and a $20 million budget

«     Garrie and his wife Pat have lived in Oradell since 2003. Pat “Casey” Murphy is an Oradell native.  Garrie and Pat have three children, all students at OPS
