James ‘Ted’ Gullo

Ted Gullo brings experienced leadership, a practical approach, and a commitment to follow-through to Oradell’s Town Council.
As Police Commissioner and chair of the Public Safety Committee, Ted prioritizes pedestrian safety, traffic enforcement, and emergency readiness. He has supported police staffing and equipment, crosswalk improvements, and targeted enforcement to address residents’ concerns.
His service spans key Borough operations: Fire Commissioner (2024–2025), current chair of the IT/Technology Committee, and member of the DPW Committee. Through Recreation and Special Events, he champions better parks and fields, programs for families and older residents, and events that connect neighbors.
A senior marketing leader in financial services, Ted brings strategic planning, clear communication, and experience uniting teams around shared goals to his Council work. His approach is straightforward: listen carefully, make informed decisions, and follow through for Oradell.
Jon Kern

Jon Kern brings financial expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to responsible spending to Oradell’s Town Council.
As chair of the Audit Committee, Jon has strengthened transparency and oversight in Borough finances, budget review, and payroll management. Drawing on his experience in finance, audit, and compliance, he scrutinizes expenses, supports responsible debt management, and plans for major improvements. He has backed cost-saving measures that protect taxpayer dollars while sustaining essential services.
Jon also chairs the Ordinance Committee and serves on both the DPW Committee and the Public Safety Committee, bringing a practical, disciplined approach to Borough operations and the services residents rely on every day. As Fire Commissioner, he supports the volunteers, equipment, and emergency readiness that help keep Oradell safe.
Jon’s approach is straightforward: ask the right questions, demand accountability, and make informed decisions that serve Oradell today and prepare it for the future.
